3D TV Without Glasses and Its Technology deals with the different kinds of these three-dimensional televisions that do not require the use of 3D glasses such as Parallax Barrier Technology, Lenticular Lens Technology and 3D TV Box.
3D TV Without Glasses and Its Technology!
Technology, indeed, has changed the destiny of man. It has even changed the way men want to be entertained. Gone are the days when he was content with watching the latest baseball game on the old black and white television. With the advent of technology came the “feel as if you were there” 3D movies.
Years ago, people could watch 3D movies in cinemas alone. They even had to wear 3D glasses to make them feel as if they were watching the movie a few steps from the scene. The result was astounding and people craved for more.
Today, 3D movies can be enjoyed not only in cinemas but also in the comfort of your own homes. The 3D Television Without Glasses has been enhanced to meet your demands. Manufacturers continue to research and discover the technology that is 3D Television.
What are The Various Technologies that Deal With 3D TV?
Parallax Barrier Technology
This technology uses minute lenses which are incorporated into the TV monitor, thus eliminating the need or glasses. These are called layered liquid crystal displays which contain small stripes that conceal certain pixels so that some are visible to the left eye while the other pixels can be deciphered by the right eye. These pixels then produce images that can be transmitted to our brains.
However, the spectator must remain in the same place to obtain the maximum effect this technology provides.
Lenticular Lens Technology makes use of lenticular lenses that are built on the display monitor, so glasses are no longer needed. These lenses, which look like fried eggs, bend the left and right images that are produced. This technology allows the watcher a broader view of the image.
This technology works by utilizing a webcam that locks on to a spectator’s eyes and adapts the images sent by using a webcam that locks on to a viewers eyes and adjusts the images transmitted from the display as the spectator shifts his head so they see in 3D. This is much like the headset used in movies like “Virtual Reality”. When the spectator moves, the image moves too, tricking the brain that there is dimension behind the screen.
The Three Dimensional TV Box
This is a new discovery in 3D TV without glasses technology. This operates by taking an average three-dimensional image and sending it into the 3D TV Box to be displayed. The 3D TV Box takes the image and projects it on to the TV monitor at the same dimension you see when using 3D glasses on most 3D sets, and can take subject the various services that have streaming 3D content solutions.
With the 3D TV Box, faults may still be found, but at least, images look sharper than with the other 3D TV technologies.
